You should be able to find these licenses easily on the company’s website, quotes/estimates, and other documents. Additionally, they should have a professional online presence with a company website, customer reviews on trusted sites, and active social media profiles.
Here are some other things you should look for to make sure a moving company is legitimate and reputable:
- The company is registered with the FMCSA and has a USDOT number on its website, estimates, and bill of lading.
- Sales representatives are professional, introducing themselves by name and company.
