There’s nothing worse than spending a lot of time getting leaves raked and loaded into the wheelbarrow only to have a bump on the path or a gust of wind empty them out for you. Here’s a solution that will make collecting leaves easier and keep them in the wheelbarrow:

Cut a section of vinyl tarp slightly larger than the wheelbarrow.
On two sides, duct tape or staple wooden dowels to the edges.

The weight of the dowels will hold the tarp in place over a loaded wheelbarrow. The mini-tarp is also great for raking leaves onto and loading into the wheelbarrow with ease.
