Follow these tips when mowing your grass for a healthy lawn:
- Make sure the blade is sharp so it will cut the grass cleanly, rather than shredding it, which can lead to an unhealthy lawn.
- Bag clippings for a spotless lawn, or mulch to add nutrients back to the soil.
- Set the mower blade to cut 1/3 of the blades of grass. Any more than that can lead to exposed roots and a dried out lawn.
- Mow at a moderate speed to achieve an even, uniform cut.
