“Today’s Homeowner” co-host Chelsea Lipford Wolf has a problem: Her home’s hardwood floor has one unsightly hole.
The gap is left from an air register that’s no longer connected to her heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system.
But Chelsea has a plan: She will patch the hole, add new wood planks and then stain the new wood.
Her situation is a bit unique, because of the HVAC register, but her tips will work for any hardwood floor’s hole that needs patching and replacement.
