Here’s a question from our 6/1/2019 Today’s Homeowner Radio Show.
Thomas from California says, “I currently have a ramp that rises about 40 inches and uses 2 each 4×8 plywood.
Over the ramp’s lifetime, moisture has destroyed its effectiveness. What type of wood is best to use including the nails to secure the wood?”
We tell Thomas to make sure he uses pressure-treated plywood on 16-inch centers.
Also, roll roofing material can be applied over the wood to make traction.
Listen above for the answer!
