Want to get a head start on the planting season? Just start planting from seeds indoors.

If you want to accelerate that process, make a mini greenhouse from a plastic soda bottle.

This is an easy DIY project.

  1. First, cut the top half of the bottle with a utility knife.
  2. Next, add some soil and seeds to a planter, and be sure to water them.
  3. Finally, take the top half of the plastic bottle, place it over the planter and set the mini greenhouse near a sunny window.
