shaving cream and safety

Whenever you use power tools, particularly ones that create a lot of dust, it’s really important to always wear safety glasses and a dust mask.

The only problem is, when you wear them in combination, exhaling can cause the glasses to fog up to the point where it’s hard to see out of them.

A lot of people just take them off and don’t wear them at all, but that could cause an injury in your eye.

Luckily, there’s a solution to this problem, and all you need is some shaving cream.

Put a dollop on the inside and outside of your safety glasses, and use your fingers to rub the shaving cream around. Then, wipe off the excess with a clean cloth.

Something in the shaving cream gets left behind on the lenses that keeps the glasses fog-free. They won’t stay fog-free forever, but this trick certainly lasts through the end of the day.

Now, when you exhale, your glasses will stay crystal clear so you can work safer.
