Jodi Marks: Well, if you are in the market for a new toilet, look no further than the Delta Brevard, because this toilet right here has got FlushIQ technology.

Let me tell you what’s all going on here. First of all, it is a touchless flush, so that when you wave your hand over the sensor, it automatically flushes the toilet for you.

It also has overflow protection. What does that mean? Well, it means that the toilet’s not going to overflow, because inside the bowl, there’s a sensor that detects the water level. And it stops the water from flowing into the bowl once it hits that level so that it won’t overflow.

Another thing that it has is leak detection. So, you know, inside the tank if the flapper is not seated properly, you can start to leak water, and that’ll run up your water bill. Well, there’s a sensor in there that will alert you to let you know that that leak is going on.

There are a couple of other cool features that I like. Look at this. It’s got a slow close lid, so you’re not slamming the lid. It also has a SmartFit connection right here for the tank to the bowl, so that that reduces leaks as well.

This is just a pretty cool, little toilet. It’s also ADA-approved with a comfort height, so, you’re in good shape to go there.

I’ll tell you what, I’m going to have to get one of these. I’ll get it on my bill and give it to Danny.

Both have new batteries and are less than 4 months old. There is no trouble shooting for either of these light situations. I wish we’d never have bought them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hear your pain fellow commenters..Bought one of these toilets last year, and now it has a leak where the water connection is by the main water line, and sometimes it flushs by itself, and when I replace the batteries it takes forever to reset, or it wont flush at all. 10. Toilet was put in by contractor to aid my wife who needs help. It has not worked since its inception. Once in awhile it will flush on blue, sometimes on yellow but most of the time, I use the hand flush to flush if there is enough water in the tank. I change batteries and it still doesn’t work. I have been told by everyone who has looked at it to replace it with a hand flush. Can you give me some advice as to what to do with this defective toilet? J. Owen.

  11. I am like all the others on here and the complaints. I have two as well and so far delta has worked with me by sending me out new guts to replace inside the tank on the first one that was flushing on its own then not at all etc. Now I’m starting to have issues with the second one so again I’m calling deltas toll free number. Just a plain nightmare and certainly wished I’d not been talked into these “smart” commodes!!

  12. Contractor installed 2 of these Delta Flush IQ toilets in a new vacation home, a couple of months ago.
These toilets are a disgrace, neither of them has been flushed more 20 times, changed batteries 4-5 times…Delta grudgingly replaced the inside electronics on one after it wouldn’t flush or fill, AND now I’m having the same problem is with the other one, On Memorial Day…Who wants to troubleshoot a toilet????
Why doesn’t it just work, it’s a toilet for Gods sake!!
Have to wait till Delta opens tomorrow to let them I want them out of my home and replaced with mechanical toilets.

  13. I’m like everyone else. Had the toilet about 1 year then the occasional mystery flush and doesn’t flush when it’s supposed to. Was leary before I bought it and now really regretting it. I’m calling Delta on Monday and I want a new conventional toilet. Isn’t so smart if it doesn’t work!!
