To make outdoor cooking easy at the Kuppersmith Project house, a brick base that will house a grill was constructed on the breezeway near the kitchen door.
Incorporating stainless steel doors into the brick base will allow for storage space under the grill once it’s installed. When constructing a brick base for a grill, it’s important that the cooking surface is level.
To finish off the the brick base, steel angle iron was used to support a brick border or “rowlock” around and across top of the base. Watch this video to find out more.
Hi I want to know how to build a i’m barbecue pit using your own barbecue . Meaning disassemble your grill in the middle and your gas burner just use that part and build the barbecue with bricks around it . I remember seen the show that you did that you use their existing barbecue or and just worked around it .
Hi, Alfred! We’ve featured numerous projects involving grills, but perhaps this video will help. It’s a full episode that features building a grill station: https://todayshomeowner.com/video/kuppersmith-home-renovation-project-9-floor-and-paver-patio/
Thanks for your question!
