Exposed drain lines in an attic are often a trip hazard and can easily become damaged. To reduce this risk and prevent an accident build a bridge to cover the drain lines. To make the bridge, attach 2X4’s to a length of 1/2′ plywood. Once assembled, lay the wood piece over the drain lines to create a step. Be careful not to pinch the lines. Place a screw on each end to hold it in place. As an added safety measure consider painting the edge of the step or marking the edge with colored tape.
