Since the house is in a hurricane prone area, we included features like windows with ImpactGard impact resistant glass from JELD-WEN Windows & Doors to keep it safe from storm damage.
The JELD-WEN windows used in Room with a View were outfitted with ImpactGard impact resistant laminated glass to provide maximum protection from high winds and windblown debris. ImpactGard consists of an interlayer of durable plastic sandwiched between two sheets of glass to form a barrier that meets the most stringent building codes.

The wood used in the windows was treated with AuraLast which provides virtually 100% penetration throughout the material to protect it from decay, termites, and water saturation.
