I’m at the Kuppersmith Project house taping a segment on how we’re coloring the concrete for the driveway. Rather than using a stain applied on top of the concrete, we’re mixing a powdered dye with the concrete before it’s poured. That way the color will penetrate all the way through the concrete, rather than just on the surface.

Since it will take more than one truckload of concrete to complete the driveway, the amount of dye has to be measured very carefully so each load will match. Watch this video to find out more.
