Siding Options for Your Home

Replacing the siding on your house has the highest return on your investment of any major home improvement project, and there are now several new options available:

  • Vinyl Siding: Solid core vinyl siding has molded foam insulation attached to the back, making it less prone to warping and more natural looking than standard vinyl siding.
  • Fiber Cement Siding: Mimics the look and feel of wood siding with the additional benefits of being resistant to rot and termites.

  1. very good information for me since I have no idea about siding. I am researching the different types of siding benefits and prices. My home is in need of the outside repairs. It is wood and some parts are rotten so it is essential that I get it fix. It is in Clatskanie, Oregon and it rains most of the time.

Your show of Sept. 11,2016 and your web side has been very helpful. I try not to miss your show every Sunday. Thank you.

  2. had a tube/shower replaced with a walk in shower, replaced the very old fixtures with just a shower fixture, after replacing the shower pressure is very low, none of the other fixtures in the house lost pressure, talked with delta and moen install services and neither could help solve the problem, just wondering if you might have any suggestions or could it be that new fixtures are made to help environmentally by saving water the shower people would not confirm that possibility, the old fixture I know is over 20 years old,any thoughts will be appreciated. thanks Ronnie Little
