Touch-Up Paint Isn’t Blending

Touch-Up paint can look different if separation occurred in the older can.

Danny and Joe welcome callers’ questions each week on the Today’s Homeowner Radio Show.

Here’s a question from our Jan. 11 broadcast:

Wilma’s touch-up paint isn’t blending even though it’s from the same can she used a year ago.

Discolored paint is likely the effect of separation, and separation occures when the paint gets too hot or cold.

Wilma may need to go ahead and buy a new can of paint and cover wide swaths of the discolored paint.
