Bill in CT
I have a small sink hole in an asphalt driveway. Size measures 3ft by 1ft and tapers down to about 6 inches deep. Currently have the sink hole filled with very small gravel stone thinking the hole would continue to gradually larger with time. It does seem to get a little bigger each year. Should I continue just adding a little small gravel stone each year or is there a better way to effect repairs?

Doris in OK
We had a French drain installed in 1996. The brick has moved away from wall about 3/8 inch. No cracks in bricks. Would this be due to the French drain or a foundation problem?

Doris in NC
My wooden front porch post has rotted up to ground level. It is connected to the porch column by a handrail and spindles. Is this a job I can do to repair? Can you give any advice?

Sue in FL
