The motorized miter saw is great for tons of jobs because it allows you to make square cuts quickly and easily every time. And of course as the name implies, angled miter cuts can be made just as easily. The trick is having a place to set it up and knowing when to use a miter saw table.
Miter saws are great for cutting long material like molding, but you either work on the ground or you need a really long table
Here’s an easy solution
Set an extension ladder on a pair of saw horses.
The ladder should be rigid enough to bridge the span, supporting both the saw and the molding stock.
The only thing left to do is clamp on a scrap piece of plywood large enough to rest the saw on in the middle of the ladder.
