Here’s a question from our 5/25/2019 Today’s Homeowner Radio Show.

Cynthia from Texas asks, “I have a home that is mostly brick but does have some siding. It was built in 1980 and the siding was poor quality. I have been replacing it with Hardie products. The man who started the work had a stroke and cannot finish the project. [What can I do?]”

We tell Cynthia, fiber cement is something we often use on projects because it holds together really well. A couple of coats of good acrylic paint could last her up to 7 years.

Also, James Hardie makes a soffit product that will keep any animals like squirrels away. A local home builders association should have someone they can recommend for the project.

Listen above for the answer!
