Spray disinfectant being created from essential oils

Spray disinfectants are great for killing germs on many household surfaces, but store-bought disinfectants are pretty expensive. Here’s how to make one affordably at home: Mix one cup of water with one cup of rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. Then add 20 drops of essential oil that has antibacterial properties, such as lemongrass, eucalyptus, peppermint or orange oil. Mix the disinfectant and spray it onto any surface that people touch. Then, and this is important, wait several minutes for the alcohol and the essential oil to kill all those germs. Come back with a dry cloth, buff it off and you end up with a surface that’s not only clean but also deodorized and sanitized.
