How to Texture Coat Concrete

Over time concrete surfaces can start looking old, worn, and dull. But a bigger concern is concrete that is slick, especially concrete steps.

You can give your concrete a just like new finish with a textured acrylic concrete coating. Concrete coatings are ideal for steps, patios, sidewalks, and driveways; and it can be applied over both smooth and broom-finished surfaces.

Because the coating is textured, it also provides a safe, non-slip surface. The heavy-duty resin provides superior adhesion, and the consistent color enhances the fresh look the coating provides.

Clean the concrete surfaces well with a pressure washer, then use a standard paint roller with an extension rod and apply the coating directly to the concrete surface.

When it’s dry, you’ll have a fresh, clean, and safe surface.
