Here are three ways to enhance sanding with a 1/4-sheet orbital finishing sander: 1) Place duct tape on the back of the sandpaper to prevent it from tearing. 2) As you sand, orient the sander with sandpaper clamps facing forward to avoid catching the sandpaper edge on a splinter or rough spot. 3) Save time by putting three or four pieces of sandpaper under the clamps. Then, as one piece wears out, simply rip it off to expose a fresh abrasive surface.
