MOBILE, ALABAMA (March 3, 2020) — Danny Lipford, national home improvement expert and media personality, is taking his Emmy-nominated television show, “Today’s Homeowner,” to California. He and his team will travel to Palmdale, CA, to tape an episode with local homeowner, Kathrin Luton, and help give her home the healthy upgrade it needs.
Luton is the winner of the “Healthiest Home on the Block” contest sponsored by “Today’s Homeowner” and Broan-NuTone. She entered the contest hoping Lipford and his team could help improve her home’s ventilation issues.
As the winner, Luton will receive a free healthy-home upgrade that includes a room makeover on the internationally televised show, “Today’s Homeowner.”
“A home’s air quality is so important,” says Lipford. “Not only does it help you stay healthy, but it also helps increase efficiency. My team and I are looking forward to working with Kathrin and can’t wait to help improve her home.”
After watching the show for many years, Luton entered the contest with the hope of finishing out her kitchen with a range hood and bringing in better ventilation to her two bathrooms. Luton is excited to meet Lipford and the Today’s Homeowner team, and looks forward to improving her home’s indoor air quality.
The Today’s Homeowner team will arrive in Palmdale for taping March 16-19.
Thousands of homeowners across the United States and Canada entered this year’s “Healthiest Home on the Block” contest in hopes of winning the makeover. Some of the projects Lipford and his team will tackle include:
- Replacing the kitchen range hood
- Upgrading a vent in the first bathroom
- Adding a vent in the second bathroom
