    Greenix Pest Control Services

Greenix eliminates around 50 types of unwanted critters with its variety of animal removal plans, including but not limited to wasps, spiders, cockroaches, stink bugs, fleas, voles, mice, rats, ticks, and mosquitos. Some plans even involve rodent and termite baiting. Let’s look at some of the plan options that Greenix currently offers and why they might be necessary on your property.

    Ant Control

This Greenix plan focuses on eliminating all types of ants that may invade your home and property, including carpenter ants, sugar ants, pavement ants, and fire ants. Greenix service techs will come to your home and first identify the ant intruder species. They will then locate the source of the ants, which is the colony or colonies they are coming from. After the source has been identified, the exterminator will blast it away with the eco-friendly products Greenix employs to ensure that the ant problem has been eradicated.

Sometimes the first treatment may not completely eradicate the ant population in and around your home, in which case a follow-up treatment will be applied within a month of the initial treatment.

    Tick, Flea, & Mosquito Control

Ticks can carry seriously harmful diseases that they can pass to you and your loved ones. Greenix offers effective extermination tactics to make sure these creepy crawlies stay away for good. Customer reviews rate the company’s tick control treatments as highly effective, and most are pleased with the Greenix touch and the products they use. Greenix focuses on using products that are environmentally sustainable and not harsh or dangerous to humans or pets.

Fleas also carry diseases, and they’re just plain irritating. Greenix service technicians do a thorough job inspecting nooks and crannies where fleas tend to congregate, as well as sources for fleas to enter your home. The first time Greenix techs come to your home, they will inspect it thoroughly for all pests, but if you have a pest problem specifically involving fleas or ticks, they will whip out the tick-and-flea-specific tools and make sure these disease-ridden nuisances are eradicated. It is best to get quarterly treatment for these bloodsuckers to ensure they don’t return.

When it comes to mosquito control, Greenix specializes in using environmentally safe pesticides to eliminate the 80 species of mosquitoes in the United States. Get your summers back with Greenix’s mosquito control plan — no more itchy bites and buzzing in your ears, not to mention all the illnesses mosquitoes can carry, like Zika and West Nile virus. This plan is also administered quarterly so you can enjoy the outdoors year-round, mosquito-free.

    Rodent Control

Greenix rodent control plans include eradication of mice, rats, and voles. Any rodent infestation is a serious and potentially dangerous pest problem that needs to be dealt with immediately. According to greenixpc.com, more than 80% of homes in America have remnants of mice, and one in three homes will experience some form of rodent infestation this year.

Greenix technicians treat your home to eliminate these annoying, damaging, and potentially harmful pests. The treatments provide a barrier to last throughout the quarter so that these rodent visitors do not return. If, on the off chance they do, Greenix is more than happy to return in between treatments free of charge to do some extra spraying and prevention.

In addition to these pest-specific plan options, Greenix Pest Control also offers a range of individual extermination appointments for a massive range of pests. Some additional pests Greenix can handle include wasps, spiders, millipedes, and more.

    Greenix Pest Control Cost Breakdown

Greenix services begin at $139 per treatment, and this can be a one-time treatment or the first treatment in an annual package. Every home treatment plan includes the complementary 20-point home inspection, the tried-and-true Greenix five-step process, and quarterly refreshers of the five-step process described below. If pests return to your lawn, any re-service top-up treatments are free of charge between those quarterly visits.

Factors that can affect the cost of your plan include the intensity of pest infestation your home has and the square footage of your home and property. For example, a Greenix four seasons plan for a year costs $70 for the first visit and then $119 each quarter. You can choose to have a contract length of 12, 18, or 24 months.

Scheduling an Inspection with Greenix Pest Control

To schedule an inspection with Greenix, you can simply visit greenixpc.com or call the toll-free phone number (888) 800-7181. If you choose to fill out the contact form on the website rather than a phone call, the information required is as follows.

    • Your first and last name
    • Phone number
    • Email
    • ZIP Code (so Greenix can see if you’re in their service areas)
    • A short write-up of your pest concerns

Once you’ve filled out the contact request form or have made a phone inquiry, Greenix can schedule your appointment. The first appointment and 20-point inspection are scheduled within 48 hours after you first contact a sales representative.

Upon the first visit to your home, Greenix technicians perform the inspection to identify the problem areas on your property and the main pests that need to be eliminated. They will then run through the five-step process, which is like the pest control equivalent of a deep clean, so that each subsequent visit is more maintenance and prevention than extermination.

The first step of the five-step process is Eave, Sweep & Dust. Greenix technicians do a detailed sweep of each section of your property and remove insect nests and webs. They then apply waterproof dust to these areas.

The second step is Crack & Crevice Treatment, in which a bellows duster is used to apply pesticide and preventive chemicals to hard-to-reach areas in your home. Step three of the five-step process is a Full Perimeter Spray. Your house is sprayed outside to act as a barrier between your home and pests trying to enter from outside; this treatment addresses seasonal pests throughout the year.

The fourth step is a Granular Barrier. This is applied to the surrounding greenery on your property to prevent pests from even crossing that barrier into your yard. And finally, the last step is Interior Protection. This involves spot treatment within your home to address “moisture points,” which tend to attract unwanted visitors.

    Greenix Pest Control Customer Reviews

Though no one wants to think about the possibility that they might work with a company that could be a scam, the truth is that there are multiple types of fraud throughout the country. One of the most effective ways to ensure that you’re working with a legitimate company is to read reviews from multiple third-party websites. Though any pest control service will put great reviews on its website, third-party sites allow customers to speak without censorship. This helps you get an insider look at the type of service you can expect from each company you’re considering working with.

Greenix’s online reviews are overall very positive — from Yelp to the BBB, customers were largely satisfied with the services that they received from the company. In particular, multiple customers complemented Greenix’s well-trained professionals, who were able to clear pest issues while also providing in-depth explanations of services offered. However, some customers found Greenix’s subscription pricing and low-priced initial visit deceptive and annoying to deal with.

The technician walked the yard with us to determine the source of the problem. He explained how the bait works and what the results would be. We were very happy with the service. — Ann M.

Outstanding well explained and taken care of immediately. Looking forward to good results as always since we have been using Greenix. (5 years I believe). — Dennis W.

It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with Greenix. I first contacted them for a one time visit to take care of a wasp/bees nest and was quoted a one-time service fee. However, when I called back a second time to confirm the appointment,  “Sam” told me one time service calls don’t exist and tried to rope me into an annual contract. — Alena C.

Frequently Asked Questions About Greenix Pest Control

Does Greenix treat bed bugs and cockroaches?

Greenix does not currently treat for bed bugs like several other pest control companies. However, they provide extermination and prevention treatments for cockroaches, both Oriental and American.

Are Greenix pesticides safe for my children and pets?

Greenix states that it uses sustainably sourced and earth-conscious products to perform its pest control services; however, it’s unclear what the products are. Other organic and plant-based pesticides include pyrethrin, which is derived from chrysanthemums. But Greenix never specifies which products it employs. They say that the chemicals are pet-safe and the treatments are non-toxic for humans.

Does Greenix have a customer satisfaction guarantee?

Greenix offers a year-round pest control plan subscription, but sometimes those quarterly treatments may not be enough to control the pests invading your home. In that case, Greenix will always come back to your home between these quarterly visits to make sure the pesticides are working and to reapply if necessary. This is all free of charge. Greenix wants to make sure that its customers have peace of mind and feel safe in their homes.

Do I need a new Greenix service after it rains?

Greenix’s pesticide dusts and sprays are engineered to withstand light to moderate rain. They are also made to last for several months before reapplication. If you see increased pest activity that does not disappear within a week after the treatment/rainstorm, Greenix can do a re-service.
