Danny and Joe welcome callers’ questions each week on the Today’s Homeowner Radio Show.

Here’s a question from our Sept. 14 broadcast:

Braedon in Alabama says, “This time of year we are in what’s called lovebug season.  I keep finding them inside my house even when I know a door or a window hasn’t been opened. How are they finding a way inside?”

We tell Braedon he could use a flashlight to see if there are any openings in the surface of the door.

Also, many thresholds are adjustable.  All he would need to do is loosen the screws to lift the threshold.

Joe mentions a homemade spray formula: Braedon will need to mix one cup of water, three tablespoons of mouthwash and three tablespoons of dish soap.
