Here’s an accurate way to cut crown molding when using a power miter saw. Set the molding at an angle against the saw table and fence, making sure it’s upside down. Hot-melt glue two woodblocks to the saw table and tightly against the crown molding. The blocks act as cleats to hold the molding in position and at the correct angle.
