Mighty Light is a motion activated, battery powered night-light for your home that is sold on TV. It comes on when movement is detected and has a timer to turn the light off automatically.
The Mighty Light uses an energy efficient LED light and is guaranteed to last 30,000 hours or more.
The Mighty Light worked as advertised in our test, and it could come in handy around the house, especially on stairs, halls, sheds, and bathrooms.
The self-adhesive pad sticks to walls. Since the Mighty Light is battery powered, it doesn’t require wiring or an electrical outlet.

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
Danny Lipford: Hey, I know, with the kids running around and such, you probably have a use for another little product. We want to look at it. It’s called the Mighty Light.
I know it’s important to have, you know, night lights and that kind of thing. Is there any place that you need, maybe just a little bit of light with Kayden running around?
Misty Hensell: Yes, this would be perfect for the playroom upstairs, because Kayden comes running through here, runs up the stairs with no light.
Danny Lipford: Is that right?
Misty Hensell: So this would be perfect for him.
Danny Lipford: Well, maybe we can mount it on the stairway over here.
Misty Hensell: OK. Let’s try it.
Danny Lipford: Perfect. Maybe right here at the corner, here.
Misty Hensell: Right there?
Danny Lipford: Yeah. And that way, you know, if the activation, the motion activation works well; then it should catch him coming both ways. And because it uses LED lights, it says that it’ll last 10 years.
Misty Hensell: Really?
Danny Lipford: At eight hours use, per day. Hmm.
Misty Hensell: I’ll call you back in 10 years.
Danny Lipford: Yeah, I was going to say, hmm. Okay, there. Now, we need to turn some lights off.
Misty Hensell: Try it out.
Danny Lipford: Bring Kayden around to try it out. What do you say?
The Mighty Light was easy to install, as effective as promised, and pretty darn bright. Misty and I give it a four out of five stars. But the real question is what does Kayden think?
Kayden Hensell: I think that’ll be perfect in my playhouse.
Not sure how to test for this, So…..
If you were a frequent traveler and wanted to use a MightyLight when staying in a hotel, how would you pack it?
I have thought of putting it in some sort of cloth bag or taping some sort of paper cover over the mition detector.
.
What do you think?
I have 2 mighty lights which have both failed about the same time. I certainly didn’t get 30.000 hours from them. I thought a battery change might correct this. However the battery appears to be in a sealed box with no way I can see to get into it. Hence unit is useless.
How do you get the cover off to change the mighty light battery
info sez battery is a 9vt ..but how do u get to it???????
any one know???????????
I know i have changed the battery in this unit in the past but for the life of me I can’t remember howto do it. Taking the screws only reveals a sealed box
Okay folks I just changed the battery. Leave the 4 screws in place. Take a thin flathead screw driver and place it under the little flap that runs parallel to the indented hook. Pry the battery door open with a slight lifting motion on this tab. Mark the spot because, if you are like me you won’t remember the next time it needs changing and you will spend 15 minutes trying to do out.

I would be careful ordering this. I ordered maybe 3
Thanks so much to Susan for telling us how to open the battery compartment!!!
My little light is in a cupboard under the kitchen sink and goes on when I open the door to get out supplies.
My thanks to Susan also for the information. I couldn’t figure out how it opened.
Yes, many thanks, again, Susan!
