Laundry

Your laundry room is home to two of your home’s biggest appliances. Chances are, your laundry room will need a little extra maintenance to last cycle after cycle.

Tools for Every Wash and Dry Cycle

Your laundry room is in heavy use day after day, season after season. Here are a few quick tips that will keep your laundry room running smoothly.

  • Check your washing machine’s hoses at least twice a year. Pull the appliance away from the wall and inspect the pipes for leaks or signs of wear and tear.
  • Run your washing machine through a cleaning cycle to clear detergent buildup and grime.
  • Vacuum dust from underneath your washer and dryer.
  • Vacuum the inside of the lint trap every few months to remove dust and lint buildup.
  • Clean the inside of the dryer drum with a damp cloth.
  • Clear out the dryer duct every few months to prevent fire hazards.
