Washing dishes
Just a few simple changes in your dishwashing routine can save water and energy.

Here a few tips for getting the most out of your dishwasher.

First, save electricity by using the air-dry-only or energy-saving mode, instead of the heat-dry setting.

Save water by only running full loads, and by scraping, not rinsing, dishes clean prior to loading them into the dishwasher.

And check the owner’s manual about proper placement of dishes, cups, and silverware. For example, you want to make sure you’re not blocking the soap dispenser or telescopic wash tower from fully expanding.
