Installing Tub Surround in First Time Homeowner House

When gutting a bathroom to remodel or adding a new bathroom, it’s always a good idea to insulate the interior walls for soundproofing as well as the exterior wall for energy efficiency.

For the bathroom vent fan over the tub, we installed a NuTone Ultra Silent fan and light combination.

The bathtub and shower surround in our First Time Homeowner bathroom is a modular Ensemble unit from Sterling that includes the tub and three side walls, which snap together for easy installation.
