ABC Home Warranty plans and coverage

ABC Home Services offers three main plans to its customer base in Ohio: the Core Home, Premier Home, and Premier Plus.

    Core Home

The most basic coverage option, Core Home covers main home systems like water heaters, air conditioning, heating, electrical systems, plumbing stoppages, and major water, sewer, and electrical lines that aren’t owned by utilities or covered under homeowners insurance. This plan averages $420.00 per year.

    Premier Home

The Premier Home plan provides coverage for everything under the Core Home plan, plus coverage for attic and bathroom exhaust fans, garage doors, ductwork, toilets, sump pump, and laundry equipment. This plan averages $725.00 per year.

    Premier Plus

This is the highest level of coverage ABC Home Services offers. It covers everything in the Core and Premier plans and adds protection for outside water, sewer, and electric lines up to $42,000.00 in repairs. This plan averages $725.00 per year.

    Coverage length

Contracts go into effect 15 days after purchasing a plan and each plan lasts for 12 months with a full money-back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied with ABC Home Warranty coverage, or the coverage isn’t what you expected or anticipated, you can receive a full refund with no questions asked. At the end of your contract term, you may renew your plan.

    Coverage limits

Coverage limits range between $500.00–$2,000.00 and vary based on the specific home system or appliance. We recommend reading your contract thoroughly before signing up for coverage to understand exactly what is and isn’t covered.

    ABC Home Warranty pricing

Here’s what you can expect to pay for a plan:

    Annual Protection Monthly Protection
    Premier Plus(under 5,000 square feet)$725.00$60.42
    Premier Plus(5,000 to 8,000 square feet) $1,265.00$105.42
    Premier Plus(Condominium) $625.00$52.08
    Premier Home$495.00$41.25
    Core Home Warranty $420.00$35.00

Note: ABC Home Warranty does not charge a service fee for covered repairs. If a call is made in error or for an item that isn’t covered under contract, a reasonable fee of $80 will be charged for the technician’s time. This helps offset the annual policy price and saves you in the long run by eliminating a deductible every time an important item breaks.

What to expect with ABC Home Services

If one of your major systems or appliances breaks down, contact ABC at 614-443-0300 to file a claim. The company should have a contractor schedule repairs within one business day. Emergency situations can be accommodated at an extra cost.

    ABC Home Warranty reviews

ABC Home Services is accredited with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and has an A+ rating from the BBB. Here are a few customer reviews from ABC Home Warranty customers:

We have been using ABC since we bought our home in 2016 and have been very pleased with the service and response of ABC. I am saddened to hear that they will be changing over to another name and changing their plan structure, but overall I am pleased with the service, just not the price changes or what’s covered.

This is our third home warranty company. The first was ok but it was through our mortgage company, which we lost when refinanced with another company. The second was awful. ABC gets a contractor in touch with you within 1 business day. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.
