A great way to increase the curb appeal of your home is by adding a covered entranceway or front porch. A less expensive option is to replace the entry door on the front of your home.
Entry doors can be made from steel, fiberglass, or wood. While steel and fiberglass doors can be finished to resemble wood, nothing beats the look of real wood.
To protect wood doors from rot and decay, make sure the door has been treated with a clear preservative. To finish a new wood entry door, apply stain followed by two or more coats of a clear exterior finish.
