Simple Solution

Deck boards littered with debris
Deck boards littered with debris can be cleaned out with an “L” hook

Cleaning debris from in between deck boards or from expansion joints in sidewalks doesn’t have to be time-consuming and tedious. Take a 2-inch-long metal L-hook and screw it into the end of a push-broom handle. Next, use the broom to brush the surface clean, then turn the broom around and use the L-hook to reach down into the cracks and crevices to rake out any remaining debris.
