The concrete damage on Chuck’s porch looks worse than it is.

Danny and Joe welcome callers’ questions each week on the Today’s Homeowner Radio Show.

Here’s a question from our Oct. 19 broadcast:

Chuck wants to screen in his front porch, but before he does that he needs to address a few repairs. Chuck needs to know how to fix damaged concrete sections along the edges of his porch.

We tell Chuck the damage looks a lot worse than it probably is. The rebar was likely to close to the surface. Chuck should consider cutting out the lower piece of the rebar that led to the breakaway.

Quikrete has several products that are perfect for this type of job.
