Here’s a quick, easy way to clean crystals on chandeliers and other ceiling-mounted light fixtures—without removing them from the fixtures. Partially fill a cup with glass cleaner (Windex) or our favorite homemade cleaner: Into a quart container mix 1 cup rubbing alcohol, 2/3 cup white vinegar, then top off with water. Then, simply raise the cup up and submerge a crystal in the cleaner. Lower the cup and wipe the crystal clean with a micro-fiber cloth.
