Danny and Joe welcome callers’ questions each week on the Today’s Homeowner Radio Show.
Here’s a question from our Sept. 14 broadcast:
Dawn in North Carolina says, “I have those nasty sprayed-on ceilings — they are in dire need of ceiling paint. How is the best way to paint and what brand of paint do you recommend?”
We tell Dawn she needs to do a lot of prep work in the rooms she will be working in. Getting some lightweight painters plastic and painters tape is a good idea.
Also, Dawn needs to put plastic on the floor because this type of project is accompanied by a big mess.
She can use a stain blocker on the stains on the ceiling. Then she can use a thick nap roller to paint the ceiling.
