The Kuppersmith Project 13: Grand Tour

After 200 days of renovation and remodeling, followed by two weeks of decorating from the design team at Better Homes & Gardens and Renovation Style magazines, the Kuppersmith Project house is finally finished, and it’s time to take the grand tour!

The Kuppersmith Project 12: Landscape & Garage

The final touches are underway on the Kuppersmith Project before the decorators arrive. From landscaping and outdoor lighting to finishing the garage and installing door locks, my renovation of this historic 1926 home is almost complete.

We've installed some cool features on the back porch of the Kuppersmith Project house to make it more useable as living space, including skylights and retractable motorized screens that can be opened and closed at the push of a button. Watch this video to find out more.

Installing Retractable Screens on the Kuppersmith Project House

To allow access to the great outdoor on the Kuppersmith Project house back porch – while keeping insects at bay – retractable, motorized screens were installed. The screens can be lowered at the touch of a button from the wireless control then raised to allow an access to the backyard.

The Kuppersmith Project 8: Screens & Driveway

We’re tackling a number of projects outside on the Kuppersmith Project, including installing motorized retractable screens and pouring a colored concrete driveway. Inside we’re putting in a shower surround and putting down a tile floor in the bathroom.
