Celebrate Modern Air Conditioning’s Anniversary (VIDEO)

If you’re sitting inside a cool building, it’s because of one man’s innovation.

On July 17, 1902, Willis Carrier invented modern air conditioning. While standing on a foggy Pittsburgh train platform, Carrier stared through the mist and realized he could dry air by passing it through water to create fog.

This made it possible to create air with specific amounts of moisture in it.

Thanks, Willis!
