Home improvement expert and host of Today’s Homeowner TV and Radio, Danny Lipford, has organized a community service project to beautify one of Alabama’s top tourist destinations – the USS Alabama Battleship & Battleship Memorial Park.
Lipford has recruited local businesses and 100+ volunteers to join he and his television crew to spruce up the Battleship and surrounding grounds and monuments, while capturing all of the projects and fun on camera.
Projects include:
· Cleaning and beautifying the grounds
· Refreshing; repairing memorials
· Fresh landscaping
· Repainting the bow of the famous USS Alabama
Lipford will feature the Battleship project in an episode of his national home improvement TV show, Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford, seen by over 1.5 million viewers each week across the U.S.
